Sustainable Harmony

Sustainable living, sustainable design, architecture, agriculture, technological development the answer lies in the land and what ‘Mother Nature’ freely offers.

Harnessing the elements of the land, sun, wind, water, a constant source, only changing with the seasons, adaptation for sustainable living takes the will and a real desire to achieve.

Drop of Water in the Ocean

New Zealand is quipped ‘ a drop of water in the ocean’  ( Land of the Long White Cloud) Aotearoa  the Maori name, rich in offerings of all the elements for sustainable living.

In the hills of Koromiko South Island: with sweeping views of stunning landscape basking in the sun undisturbed by the urban beat, nestles a cabin operating by a solar system backed up with hydro, an enclosed fireplace not only for warmth or cooking ( although LPG gas hob is also installed) that wonderful winter stew, but a back up for hot water heating if required. Internal, external  walls encapsulated with New Zealand wool is a natural cosy answer for insulation.

Ample water supply from a stream falling through the hills pure and clean. Stored in a 2000 litre tank,  filtered to the house,  nicknamed the best drink “Adams Ale” found anywhere in the world.

A Biolytix System which is manufactured in Australia that would handle both sewage and grey water with ease and had a very low power consumption due to the method of processing the waste – Worms!  Eco friendly at its’ best.

Ease of living with constant water, a solar/hydro supply of power source, satellite for internet, as the urban beat thumps or is disconnected by power cuts, earthquakes, floods an unfortunate risk in any country.

For example of Christchurch earthquake. Recovery for the city reliant on non sustainable methods creating angst, technical problems leaving many citizens in disarray for basic living, cooking, grey water matter, laundry and many other factors that are  taken for granted in a modern city.

http://offgridecostay.com/  A project worthy of capture and extended development. Either for living or education.

Empty Chair Empty Words ?

MP David Garrett

Act Member of Parliament David Garrett past despicable bizarre behavior of stealing a deceased baby identity,to obtain a passport by means of fraud: (although not used which is hardly the point) David Garrett admitted the theft explaining that he suffered from “delusions of grandeur”: and “It was a bit of a lark” copying the scenes from the book “The Day of the Jackal”

The pathways leading to Parliament seem to be paved with MPs’ ready to defraud the country using government credit cards for personal gain hence an act of fraud, or arrive at parliament with brief case full of past convictions they trust will be buried or ignored.

The MP’s’ rail against the common people of New Zealand of such similar behavior or convictions, credit card fraud, and the worst of the worst moral crime stealing a deceased baby identity: the latter causing the family revival of a painful past: grief of the death of their child.

Well oiled excuses from Parliament are as dirty as the broken sewage pipes of the tragic Christchurch earthquake.

Empty words, empty chairs, a rort, from the MP’s,: the common man or woman in jail penalized for crimes:or crimes even of a lesser nature would feel justified living the consequences of their criminal actions, that the Parliamentarians should do the same.

The first step being the MPs’ lose their jobs. Just as any other common New Zealander would have to and face the consequences.

ABC: action,behavior ,consequences:

So, is it not time real justice stands and act railing against these MPs’ ?

It is not enough paying back the money defrauded or saying it was just a “lark” No New Zealander is laughing.

Empty Chair empty words?

Muddy Boots on the Mind

Is the difference ( as seeing a human being is one being/soul) the psychologist analyses the emotive action or reaction of the human being, whose brain in the biological term is a physiological matter ( a functional anatomical organ), i.e. a solid body of matter activated by electrical impulses of a chemical make-up and the psychiatrists is the study of the breakdown of the latter?

The psychotherapist is then the masseur of the two? In modern terms how does one divide what the role of the psychiatrists does… to that of the psychologist or the psychotherapist.. when without the brain
and the electrical interaction between the matter and chemicals the emotion or ‘feelings’ would not exists. Therefore the psychology of the human being must be interrelated/interconnected with the psychiatric workings of the human being and vice versa. I think, I feel, therefore I am.

Can the two be divided, if so is the division by way of the psychiatric workings, for example throw sticky hot coffee into your lap-top the electrical impulses go hay-wire,therefore its’ behavior changes for what is expected to be the normal response to your physical input tapping on the keys.

The human brain chemical make-up goes hay-wire or: is altered for what ever reason, therefore the behavior changes for what is the expected normal response to the tapping/input of the world outside the emotions/behavior of the psychological side also changes.

What would the answer be? In the term of the measure of human existence: the three mentioned professions are a new science which this question seems yet to be answered?
